We invest in commercial laundry equipment and everyday store practices that help use water and energy more efficiently — without overstating what we can measure.
These are practices and equipment choices we can stand behind today. We do not publish fleet-wide gallon, kilowatt-hour, or carbon totals unless we have audited data to share.
Eight of our nine locations use Dexter C-Series commercial washers and dryers. Our SE 14th store runs Wascomat commercial equipment. Commercial machines are designed for high throughput and efficient operation compared with home units.
Dexter commercial washers use high G-force extraction to remove more water before the dry cycle, which can shorten drying time compared with lower-extract machines.
Our Dexter dryers include moisture sensing and automatic shutoff so heat stops when clothes are dry — reducing unnecessary run time.
Check washer and dryer availability online before you visit, so you can plan one trip instead of waiting or driving back.
We keep stores clean, well lit, and equipment serviced so machines run as efficiently as possible.
Use the right load size, avoid over-detergent, and choose appropriate wash temperatures. Small habits add up across thousands of loads each week.
You can reduce waste and energy on every visit — whether you wash here or at home.
We previously listed certifications, annual savings figures, and customer quotes on this page that we could not verify. Those have been removed. If we earn a third-party environmental certification or complete a measured sustainability report, we will publish it here with documentation.
All nine Des Moines–metro stores run commercial equipment and coinless FasCard pay. Find hours, addresses, and live machine status near you.
