Adding funds at the kiosk
Credit/debit reloads include a 2.75% convenience fee. Kiosk loads onto a laundry card do not use the $20 FasCard machine-swipe hold.
When you swipe a debit or credit card directly on a washer or dryer, your bank may place a temporary $20.00 FasCard transaction hold. That is a bank authorization — not a separate paid hold fee.
The hold updates to the real cycle amount within 24–72 hours, depending on your bank. You are only charged for what you use.
Loading money onto a laundry card at the kiosk does not use this $20 hold (kiosk credit/debit reloads may still include the 2.75% convenience fee).
